Celery /Apium graveolens
Scent: Similar to celery, strong, warm, spicy, sweet
Description: The oil is obtained mainly from the celery seeds and flower heads, thought the entire plant produces it. The oil is fluid and pale yellow.
Uses: Celery oil is soothing for those with nervous fatigue. Inhaled, it soothes respiratory infections. It is a diuretic, so it can help relieve premenstrual bloating. It is also an aphrodisiac. It may cause photosensitivity when used externally. Oil of crushed celery seeds is used to help indigestion in herbal medicine in Asia.
