Bala or sida cordifolia is considered to be one of Ayurveda"s potent medications for a variety of ailments. Called Indian Ephedra – Bala root is un paralleled in its ability to renew and nourish cells, promote tissue re generation and above all to aid in burning excess fat in the body. Our Bala Tailam is made from choice Bala roots that have been specially treated in copper pots for over 24 hours by Ayurvedic physicians to keep integrity of the oil. Can be mixed with other massage oils, creams, lotions or used directly for a cooling toning action. Action: Cooling, tonic, astringent, aromatic, stomachic febrifuge, diuretic, etc. Uses: Its infusion is useful in disorders of blood and bile, bleeding piles, strangury, hematuria, gonorrhea, cystitis, leucorrhea, chronic dysentery. It is also used in nervous disorders as insanity, facial paralysis and in asthma as a cardiac tonic. This and all our other medicated Ayurveda massage oils are truly authentic and made to strict standards as per an 850 year old original treatise. This oil contains a minimum of 70% of active Bala root extracts. Contents: Pure organic sesame oil, castor oil, coconut oil, bala , ashoka and copper. |
